Here's a story of a girl,
Living in the lonely world,
A hidden note, A secret crush,
A little boy who talks too much.

Well, I'm standing in the crowd,
And when you smile I check you out,
But you don't even know my name,
You're too busy playing games,

And I want you too know,
If you lose your way,
I won't let you go.

If I cut my hair,
If I change my clothes,
Will you notice me?

If I bite my lip,
If I say hello,
Will you notice me?

Recently, there was unrest in Thailand. The red-shirt protesters wanted Thailand PM Abhisit to step down. The anti-government protesters announced full weekend of protests starting with a massive procession and "blood painting". They had collected eighty gallons of blood to splash on Mr PM Abhisit's house and other government buildings. To them, it was a symbolic sacrifice for democracy.

When I read all about the news, I felt that they should not waste the blood as many people are in need of blood transfusion. Thailand's tourism will also be affected as many tourists will avoid visiting the country due to violent street protests. Even students in Singapore had to cancel their trip to Thailand for safety reasons. Thailand's economy will also be affected. I am thankful that I am living in Singapore led by a good government. We have peace and do not have any protesters on our streets. Our Singapore government is also not corrupt, unlike Thailand's government. Thailand's reputation as "The Land Of Smiles" is now known as "The Land Of Frowns". Having peace in a country is very important to me.

Will you ever notice me...
